Kristin Fisher has joined CNN on July 20, 2021. She is the network's Space and Defense Correspondent. As a Space and Defense Correspondent she covers everything starting from NASA to the newly created Space Force as well as commercial space businesses and tourism in space. Kristin's parents are each NASA astronauts. Kristin spent her childhood in space and has now been an White House reporter for FOX News that covers the Trump and Biden Administrations on space issues. As she covered the two presidential impeachment cases, 2020's Presidential Campaign, and both administrations attempts to curb the coronavirus epidemic Kristin also covered a variety of other topics. The president of the time Donald Trump traveled to Afghanistan on a highly-restricted trip. Prior to being hired by the channel in, Kristin spent nearly a 10 years working her way up in local TV news stations in Grand Junction, Colorado; Little Rock, Arkansas; and Washington, D.C. where she received one Emmy Award as a one-man-band reporter for the Washington, D.C.'s CBS affiliate. Kristin utilized her knowledge in the field to create Field Mouse Films. The firm specialized in making documentary films and was a favorite among corporate clients, including Uber, Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin is a Bachelor in Science in Journalism, which she obtained from Boston University. The place she lives is Washington, D.C., with her family, including their daughter, who is three years old.
