Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada is the Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared in numerous TV shows. She was raised in Northern Virginia, and is the middle daughter of two sisters. She is a middle-sister of two sisters and was raised to a young age in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada started her career in the television industry by appearing on several National Commercials. For the Laura Neri film A Kiss on the Nose (2004) Ghanizada played the lead role of Chiara a performance for which she was awarded a film festival best actress nomination. The actress was a guest star in several television series, including How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars Wedding Bells Num3RS Bones Psych & Castle. Recent appearances included the sci-fi action film Blood Shot (2009) and the comedies that are independent You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada was first noticed in 2008 when she was a part of the crew of The General Hospital spin-off General Hospital. Season 2 of Nightshift saw Ghanizada play Doctor.
